Update:  September 8th,  Mayor Menino VETOES redistricting plan approved by the Boston City Council and sends it back  for edits.

Read his recommended changes.

 

Posted on August 22, 2012 – Seven Boston City Councillors voted to divide Black Boston and preserve 5 majority White voting districts when six voted for the better plan.
